Michael Kirby Chambers was established in late 2010. It is located in an historic two-storey sandstone building at 49 Davey St Hobart.

Michael Kirby Chambers was chosen to evoke the combination of integrity, intellectual robustness and fearlessness possessed by former High Court Justice Michael Kirby.

Those are the attributes to which each member of Chambers aspires.

MKC barristers have a range of seniority, experience and skills. Each is determined, skilled and fiercely independent.

Most have taken on difficult and controversial cases in the public interest and all are dedicated to excellence whether acting for fee or pro bono.
